I briefly recall someone on here building a slim subwoofer box that housed their sub inverted in the front (towards the cab) of the trunk. Just inquring if anyone else had done that and how it sounded?

I have been running a Kicker 10" L7 and a ZX 600.1 for the last two years or so and am getting ready to redo my box and sub rack and was considering this to cut down on the size of the box. The magnet is huge....

I also am going to run a ZX 350.4 to my doors so getting excited about that.

Oh yeah and i searced and searched for the last two days but was unsuccesful, apparently I couldnt find the right seard word. Thanks for your help

I havent done it but i have building sub boxes for years. You would still have to have the same amount of air space whether its inverted or not. You just dont have to account for displacement which i guess saves you some space. But your taking up that same space out of the box. Just remember to wiring it out of phase. No real benifets other then looks. good luck with that, and post pics.
