Double DIN ICE upgrade Question

I ordered the silver-ish dash piece from LS Koncepts and have one of these Kenwoods arriving anyday now.....(the pic is the one I have in my Focus).

Any tips on what other problems to expect converting to this? The Focus was a lot of work and I'm hoping the LS won't be as bad. I'm sick of the factory skipomatic and the dealers fix is to pull it, send it out for repair and the meantime I get to drive my LS with a hole in the dash until they fix it or get in a new one......uh, not.

I don't understand your comment. I hope it was in jest. I just searched for the latest threads on it and provided you with options. I wasn't trying to insinuate anything other than trying to help out.

Weird, I thought I did say thanks. I just tried to explain why I didn't use the search before someone else came on and put that in my face (I browse a lot of forums and there's countless search 'banner wavers' that like to dive on people asking questions), guess I was trying to prevent a verbal airstrike and got one anyway. I ended my comment to the nice guy that supplied the quick answer, and didn't think I needed to state his name, but for those clearly in the fog, here it is, to poster number 2, "GrayGhost1" thanks, again.

There was zero attitude in my response to him. You all are imagining things. I'm not sure why I'd give attitude over a straight answer like his, which by the way was quite helpful. As was LS Koncepts carrying the silver double DIN panel.......very cool.

I haven't recieved that yet but in the interests of another peace offering, thanks in advance!

No worries! It really looks like the install is pretty simple though.
