double din DVD ???

I am on a budget and was wondering if you guys would give me your opinions. If you only had about $600 to spend what would you rather have...... a JVC KW-AV706 or a Kenwood DDX-6019?? Both are double DIN applications with comparable options.

I am leaning towards the Kenwood only because they have a a better name in car audio. Anyones opinion would be greatly appreciated.

I have the Kenwood DDX 6019 as well, and the only complaint I have is that, when combined with the PAC SWI-X (steering wheel control), the volume is very jerky and goes up and down EXTREMELY quick! Besides the steering wheel controls, the unit is amazing. It looks very good in the car! I painted the 03+ Nav bezel black. The camera flash makes the color appear to be slightly off but it looks perfect, even in direct sunlight during the day! I will find out the paint used if needed.

My car is a 2000 LS (has a 2002 center console though). You need to purchase the 03+ navigation bezel from ford which is around $65 dollars. With a little bit of modification, it fits the Kenwood and the 2000-2002 LS's
