Does anybody know where the door sensor (driver side) is on a 1998 Lincoln Mark 8? The reason i am asking is because sometimes when i shut my door it says driver door ajar? It is pissing me off because i just bought the car in october.

Common problem. Spray the latches with WD40.

Been discussed much before. Very common problem. Spray wd-40 in the door latch and it should clear it right up. I also sprayed some silicon lubricant in there afterwards to keep it lubed up.

I don't think you are going to be satisfied. On Gen 2's WD40 may work, but it didn't work for me. I went ahead and replaced the $13.00 part. Check out my link I started back in October.
