does tranny still take 12L if using drain plug

Need to do ATX tranny fluid on V6. I know what the manual say it holds but what's real life numbers of drain plug drain and fill?

The typical number would be about 1/3 or less of the normal amount. Why are you doing this. If the fluid needs to be changed, then you need to change all of it. The only way to do that is by doing an exchange of fluid via the cooling lines. This is best done with a machine, but it can be done by hand (with a bucket, some hoses, and an funnel).

well i was gonna do it my self and was wondering how much can actually get swapped out. looks like the dealer will have the privallege of doing this then. More of my money gone
