Ok so I know on the tech article for the valve cover seal replacement it says to use the black sealant. While at Wal Mart today I decided to see if they had it but they only had blue and red. Red said like hight temperature on it and the blue said like safe for all sensors but generally they appeared the same besides color. Any one know the difference between the three or if there even is one?

old technicans...i talked to a permtex rep at my college.he said the red blue and orange are no long any good... only use black when sealing motor oil...everything else use GRAY! or the RIGHT STUFF stuff work great for everything!
