Democrat Underground Mourns death of Saddam, wishes it were Bush instead

They sure are loony over there. I sometimes read a few posts (for laughs, certainly not to learn anything) and I can't believe what I'm reading. Oh, wait- I can believe it. They are leftists over there, after all. ;)
 
Skimming through the post, it looks like the majority of people posting are upset simplely because they are against the death penalty all together, not Saddam lovers. Like usual, you take the smallest and try to pass it off as the majority in an never ending attempt at sh!t flinging. Congrats, you didn't waste anytime starting the New Year just right.

I find it amazing that you read those threads and then condemn Fossten... Are you still hitting the eggnog?

Read those threads, the "majorities" in any DU thread are not the rational, articulate people. Those threads included.

DU is a poison pit. It's a venomous hateful place. I know of no Republican site that even resembles that tone. FreeRepublic is often mentioned and I don't see any resemblance.

I find it amazing that you missed the point of my post; you're a smart guy and little gets pasted you... I am pointing out that Fossten who likes to take the high ground and proclaim moral superiority over Democrats because he is a Republican stooped to misleading tactics.

I did read many of those threads in the link and for the most part, the people posting are upset that the death penalty was carried out and how it was carried out; though there are the nut-job "Hang Bush too!" post, those are not the meat and potatoes of that post, more like the parsley.

Honestly, I wouldn't know, the only time I visit that site is when someone post a thread here linking to it.

Yeah, the Freepers seem to have quite an obsession with DU. Like you, I never go there unless its brought up by the Freeper Brigade. Whatever. I personally can make up my own damned mind without needing support from echo chambers like DU or FR.

As for Ford's funeral, I do wonder what the Freepers' reactions would have been if it had been Carter or Clinton who had died and received such glowing treatment by the MSM. I have no doubt that there would have been the usual cries of liberal bias, not to mention similar, if not MUCH worse, gnashing of teeth over how the media skimmed over their supposedly horrible records.

Once again, you show your myopic ignorance by misrepresenting me, a mistake that even lefties like Phil don't make. I don't believe what I believe because I'm a Republican, I vote Republican because I am a Conservative.

I'm sure you are just projecting your own dissatisfaction over your inability to take a stand on any issue and thus putting yourself in the linguine-spined camp of the liberal moderates, but from now on speak for yourself since you obviously don't understand me.

Finally, you go to any conservative blog and you don't see the kind of hate that Olbermann and DU spew. As far as I'm concerned, Conservatives DO have the moral high ground when it comes to tolerance and hate.

That could be true as I do not visit far-left or far-right blogs (generally speaking), but the fact remains you misrepresented that link with your bogus headline. Read the posts, the majority of people posting are appauled that the death penalty was carried out and how it was carried out, they are not saying "We love Saddam, it should have been Bush" as you implied.

So, using your "Conservatives DO have the moral high ground" rational, maybe you're not a true Conservative as you stooped to using these "Olbermann/DU hate-methods" you speak of.
