I have searched and searched on this forum and I have yet to see a complete list of DATC or DTC codes posted on here. I figured you guys would have had that knocked out ASAP.

Could any of you tell me what a 19 47 is? I appreciate your breadth of knowledge.

Got em.

I see that this manual is for a 2006 LS....does it still hold true for my 2000 LS? Also where do I locate the EVAP sensor on said car?

The code should be the same on gen I. The sensor sticks into the upper part of the AC stack behind the center of the dash. It sticks in from the driver's side.

There's a thread on here with really good pictures of all the guts behind the dash.

The second picture of post #17 shows the box with the evaporator and heater core. The sensor is on the left side of that.

(Fortunately, you don't have to take the dash apart to replace this sensor.)

Holy buckets, that's impressive. There is a whole mess of things to get it fully exposed. So if I am on the driver's side floor looking up at it I will be able to reach in there and replace the sensor without having to take anything off or out? In the picture I outlined what I believe to be the sensor from your description, is this correct?

I think you have circled one of the air door actuators (servos). I think the sensor is much smaller. It might be at one of the two white areas. There are also two air outlet temperature sensors (left side and right side) that are the same part as the evap sensor.

I'm not sure what you have to take off to get to it, but it isn't much.

Ok cause I was gonna say that thing looks awafully tough to get to without taking anything off. I guess I will have to take a looksee when I get home. I just wish I knew what I was looking for.

Has anyone else on here replaced their Evaporator Discharge Temperature Sensor? If so, how'd you do it?
