Haven't seen mention of this kind of failure since I've been here, and a quick archive search doesn't turn up much.

Anyone seen weird DATC failures? 2002 V8 Premium, FWIW.

For me, the aux coolant pump never turns on, just assumed it was the pump. So I grabbed one from the pick'n'pull, rebuilt it, did the swap today. Guess what? Still no work. Ran through the diags, and the DATC simply isn't grounding the relay to turn on the pump.

Thankfully that yard has two '00 (one v8 !!with the engine!! - I forgot the colors, but I think red exterior and beige or silver interior, and a v6 black on black), so I can grab a module and try that.

So, two things:
1) Anyone seen strange DATC failures?
2) I'll be at the yard... Let me know if there's anything ya'll want off of those. Headlights were in OK shape, but it looked like only one had gray sealant. Most of the bits were there, as they are both fresh to the yard.

Previous owner hit my unit, which crapped it out. I asume when he was installing an aftermarket deck, he jammed a screw driver or something to the top of my unit.

The unit has a sticker on it that says "Scrap if dropped"

Prior to removing it, i thought the worse of the worse, as it would not turn on at all. I tested the circuitry as the manual says, and all values were correct.

Got a new unit and it works - the DACT units are really fragile for some reason.

I would grab the DCCV and DACT from those lincolns...
