DAMPENER BOLT (NEW vs. OLD) & OIL PUMP

has anyone reused the dampener bolt? They say to replace it and i had every intention of doing so but there is a shortage of the bolts from the dealer. I did find one answer that said it would be on back order for at least 11 days. I've seen some back orders in the past that never showed up. Hopefully i'll track one down soon.

also, look at the difference between the 2001 & 2002 oil pump on the 3.9. The 02 has tubes that direct oil flow to the primary chains at the shaft. Where is the oil applied to the chain on the 01? Is it just a splash theory (ahhh!)​

I reused my crank pulley bolt. Asked Max to find a new one for me, he said there was a nationwide backorder and his parts guy hunch was that it was never really stocked.

No idea on the '01 chain oiling. Good to know there were notable internal changes between those two years.....
