daaayum, looks familiar

It's about what I paid for mine, but mine had 70k on it when I got it. There are cheap 1st gens out there but most of the ones in the $2k range usually have something wrong with it to justify the price..faded paint, busted up grille with toasted headlights, failed air ride, beaten interior..its usually one or more of those..its tough to find one that doesn't need something fixed..at least to my standards.

asking 4k, and doesn't list the mileage....hmmm
- I found a gen 2 with 95k for 2800...BUT it's from a DEALER:shifty:

@keviiin found a white 1995 lincoln mark viii with 123k from an elderly guy. he sent me pics on interior and from the looks of interior it looks good. pm me your email if you would like to see pics of it.

Not really looking to buy another one..just thought it was cool to find one just like mine.

That's not a bad deal at all if there isn't any major issues. I bought mine from a dealer and they fixed the blend door the day before they sold it to me. :D. On the contrary, I paid $7200 for it back in '08 with 72k miles. Yeah, I overpaid. Oh well.

I test drove a '95 in that color (or very similar) back in '04 before I bought my '93. Definitely a unique color, and I'm not sure I've ever seen another one in person that color, but this one had some issues with the suspension. Rear end kept making a popping sound and it definitely didn't feel "solid" when taking turns. Seems like it had some issues with the paint/body as well.

I paid $4500 from a dealer in the summer of '04 for my black on black '93, and that was with somewhere around 90-95k on the clock, and the car was in good condition. I could tell it had been owned by an enthusiast because there were suction cup marks on the windshield where either a radar detector or G-Tech Pro had likely been, and the dealer said the guy had traded it in on a SVT Lightning, and I could tell the car had been well maintained. Plus, after looking at another '93 just a month or so before (Deep Jewel Green with Mocha interior; I know that because it was an exact clone for my parts car) that had a butchered audio system that didn't work, had obviously been wrecked at some point because the SRS airbags were dyed to match the interior color and didn't quite match, and the interior was in about the same condition as my first parts car (NOT good), and higher mileage (around 130 or 140k if I remember correctly) and the dealer that had it wanted $3000 for it. So when I found the black on black one in great condition for just $1500 more, I jumped all over it, and the rest is history.
