hello this is my first post
heres the story under normal driving and light acceleration car runs fine when i go to downshift and it jumps to the lower gear it starts to cut out violently this is not an intermittent problem very easy to duplicate. if i let off the gas and left it go into gear and accelerate normally no problem if i floor the peadal when it does it and i hold it long enough the engine dies. took it to the dealer no luck the came up with a p0320 code but they are not sure ?? not sure? i am a tech by the way and if the dealer is stumped im hoping someone here can help! i do get a gear select data error message when it is acting up. I had a previous output speed sensor code P0722 Output Speed Sensor No Signal probably from the trans which I thought was the problem for sure but there are 3 sensors and ford doesnt know which is the output sensor when i cleared it it never came back.

Sorry, I only had the code. But any competent Ford/Lincoln mechanic trained on the diagnostic computer should be able to pinpoint the problem.
Maybe someone else on the forum has had experience with this particular problem.
