has anyone figured out a way to tap into the suspension diognostic plug under the hood and get it to work.. looks like a ford OBD1 connector port???
 
as far as i know the only way is with the ford diagnostic tool but i could be wrong
 
Someone with electronics background probably could fix that easily, I've seen the inside of mine and they aren't very complicated. I still wouldn't pay much for it though in case its not an easy fix...
 
You can use the plug to run the self test with a test light, or if you're very careful, you can just use a peice of wire. See here at the bottom:

SWEET!! it says you can use an EEC-IV code scanner!! thats just a ford OBD 1 reader!! i got one!! SWEET!! you guys can buy one, there only like 20 bucks or so at autozone...
