cruise switch recall update!!

at my dealership they are available for 96-98 markviii's not sure whats different between 93-95 vs the rest, except for the location on the 93. it looks like a new switch and a jumper harness to fit the new style switch to the old style connector. these still look to be in small numbers so far so there might be a waiting order or something at your local dealer but at least there is light on the horizon

My truck was included in one of the first batches of cruise control recalls... that's been like two years now or something though. Fix looks like it cost Ford maybe $20(if that).

yup the trucks just got a fused jumper harness, i got my recall kit today and mine is a new style switch and a jumper to make it fit, my parts manager says theres a steady flow of these coming in and no looks of a backorder, but i dont care, i got mine before they can be

hmmm.. i put my VIN in a ford recall website and came up "no current recalls"

so im guessing my 96lsc isnt included??.. or is it??
