I know this isn't an LS or even a Ford, but I remember my dad telling me how much safer larger older vehicles were. My parents felt great about me driving a 79 Caprice Classic as my first car when I was 14. Boy were they wrong.

Of course they are.... They know your going to survive and want to have your car replaced. In the old "battle tank" you'd be dead and therefore not making a claim... Makes sense to me lol
