Coolant System Cleaner or Flush?

Really need to change one pipe and clean out my coolant system. Someone added regular water to it so its rusted and also added the wrong coolant apparently since its gelled as well.

Are there any particular additives that I can run through it that will do a good job? Or would a flush at the shop be much better? Not sure if its worth it as its almost like $75+
 
For the issues that you indicate, I think that a power flush would be best.
 
I agree, someone put the orange stuff in if you have gelling antifreeze in there. That stuff is corrosive enough to etch the heads too. Here's a pic of a Chevy Vortec head that had a weeping intake gasket allowing Deathcool to seep around it.
