I have to replace my console bezel that i recently got from king:D woot woot !
I've read a couple of Ford installation guides and it tells me in perfect english how too I'm just one to reassure myself 12 times before i do it. I'm sure there are some ppl out there that have done it. I don't have the dash removal tool as for..

Questions..?

Can i sub some other tool?
Will it snap in easily?
Anything you guys encountered while doing this?
Also will the drive, reverse,Neutral cover plate, in order to remove it will the shifter have to be disassembled ?

Pic below for the pic of the bezel

Yes; GENTLY pry the side edge with a flat head screwdriver.

Yes.

Just take it slow and easy.

No.

start at the back, put the shifter in D, watch the two clips at the front, if your not careful, the clips will scratch the climate controlls. it just snaps out (unless you have a bunch of that food & dirt paste in the cracks, that sh!t is like glue)
that is the first piece that needs to come off to replace the radio or the shifter, you will only need to remove that one panel. it should take you 45 secs, a minute and a half if your careful
