I was given the opportunity to trade my 2000 LS for a black 2002 Xterra S/C'd... My car has 135,xxxmiles and the xterra has about a 1000less. I dont think this girl knows the depreciated value of LS's.. what do you guys think? Looking for some input.

You want a soccer mom SUV?

Where's the fun in a used SUV? the new ones have more go, but why?

I'm suprising you got 135k+ on your 2000 LS...I Currently only have 86k on mine :P

Trust me, I grew up driving an excursion, and a Durango with the 5.9. It's definately not the same kind of driving experience. 70 in the LS is totally different from 70 in any type of SUV.

At least test drive it a few days if possible and see if you like the way it feels. I test drove the LS 5 times before I bought it...

Another thing too...you'll never get the money back you paid in all your mods on the LS...not to mention if you already fixed all your bugs with the LS...then why get a Nissan that you don't know how well it has been taken care of? It could die a month after you trade it...there can be all sorts of :q:q:q:q that could be wrong......

converting from sedan to SUV isnt a big deal for me. My first vehicle was an Explorer, and I also had a big body 99model Denali (which was about the same length as an excursion I think..)

my question is, do you guys think the trade is worth losing 3mpg, losing the comfort the woodgrain the leather and the luxury features for an extra $2k or $3k on the kbb price?
