First I searched over 37 pages trying to find someone on here with the same problem that I'm have and haven't seen the solution yet.

So with that out of the way. Here I go, The car started having a hard jerk when driving between 25 35 mph. Threw a transmission code. Took the LS to the dealer they said it was my injectors. Replaced all 8 injectors, fixed the jerking problem no code but started missing. Took to a trusted family mechanic due to the lack of time I had to spend on it. He told me the Valve cover gaskets were leaking in spark plug wells. I told him to replace them both. Car ran fine for about 3 days when I discoved a new problem. When the car is left to sit for more than an hour. The car will crank fine but no start. Car will usually fire up on second crank but sounds a little rough but smooths out quickly. Once car is at temp car always starts on first crank, no rough start or any problem.

Mechanic said he can't figure it out. He said when he hooked up the fuel pressure gauge the pressure was solid when car starts up fine. But when car doesn't start up right away the fuel pressure dips a little. I told him to check the relay up front. He said his next resort is to hook up the fuel pump to a pressure guage for 48 hours.

The LS is a 2001 V8 with 74K on it and I have always babied it. Has original fuel pump and filter.

So whats everyone thought?

Thanks
