Hello,

I'm a long time lurker, but this is my first post. I've had my 00 LS V8 for about 2 yrs now and it has 104K miles. I've got a few problems that I think might be related so I thought I'd ask around. I've probably read 150+ threads on these subjects and just can't find anything, so I've searched a ton and now it is time to ask.

I had some coil issues about 5 months ago and ended up replacing my valve cover gaskets (both sides) and four coils (on the driver side) along with new plugs. I put all the new coils on the drivers side hoping to then see which were bad on the passenger side and easily swap out the bad ones. I got lucky and all 8 worked great for about 5 months. Lately, three of the new coils are throwing codes (E,F, and G) on the drivers side. These are all ebay coils (http://stores.ebay.com/alanisdeals06_W0QQsspagenameZADMEQ3aBQ3aEOIBSAQ3aUSQ3a60QQtZkm)
I've contacted the seller with no response so beware if you plan to purchase from these guys. The coils see to be intermittently bad, and will run fine until some moment where they will all fail and the car runs like crap. Whats funny is that I can pop the car into neutral, restart it and it will run perfect right after.

OK along to the rest, lately the radio has been cutting out when I press on the brake while driving. When I hit the brake, I see a flicker on all my dash lights, and the radio cuts out (turns off briefly) which I think is a response to low voltage similar to how it shuts off during cranking.

Can these be related? Could the battery be bad, causing the voltage to drop and the coils to crap out?

Anybody have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Maybe

Have you replaced the clockspring yet? It is related to radio and cruise control too.
