I finally got my car back yesterday from the dealership. Other than the free coffee and danish at a Lincoln dealer i cant complain about the service i got from a Ford dealership. Free rental during the 11 days it took to fix the car. They replaced the entire throttle body and 4 coils (#1,2,4,5). Car runs great now, very smooooth. I think the bad coils affected the performance, it "feels" much better now. Couple of questions though. When they say they performed a "coil stress test" on all the coils, what does that mean? How is the test measured, pass/fail? Is there a range or something they fall under to require replacing? I have heard alot of bad coils but i never would have thought my '05 would have FOUR bad coils.
