so i changed my coils today and when it was all said and done i got everything put back on and plugged in. i turned my car on and it runs great except my check engine light is on. is this a common thing when changing these out or should i be worried?

well whats the code for the CEL? it may not be coil related at all, or on the other hand, you may have upset it digging around in there.

either way, an autozone will usually pull codes for free. get it checked, and report back.

If the light wasn't on before you changed the COPs, then it means you messed up something in the process. If it was on before you changed them and it was due to a misfire, it may take a day or two for it to go off.
