Few days ago my front end went out so I decided to get a conversion kit problem was I couldn't wait the three days or so for shipping and didnt have the 450$ to spend so I decided to go to auto zone a check out some parts. I looked up front end coils struts and strut mount form a 94 tbird and they all matched up perfectly and it only cost me round 240$ granted I work for auto zone pt so I get 20 % off. Not much to the install only difficult part was compressing the coils to fit the strut. But other then that all works great. As far as the rear same match up only problem I think i might come accross is some conversion vendors offer a mounting plate for the rear so I may have to get something together as far as that goes but the rear coils are going for around 60$ so all in all the kit that costes 400-450$ at some places cost me only 300$ cant beat that. And btw I am happy with the ride

Are you saying you only did the fronts?
I think I remember reading that the t-bird rear springs don't fit the rear lower control arm. I could be wrong though.

I started printing out what I want, including part numbers from their website and bringing it into the store. I think they don't like that, but I get the right parts now.

I think he is confirming that the rear coils don't quite fit the mark, and that he has to buy some type of aftermarket mounting plate to allow the t-bird springs to work on the mark.

I found this on another board. http://forums.tccoa.com/showthread.php?t=76534
From the looks of those mounts, It is probably a shorter spring than the ones in the kit.
I have seen a name brand complete strut that fits t-birds that comes readt to bolt right it. I think they retail about $170.
Anyone have close up pictures of the rear mounts from the conversion kits like strutmasters sells? From what I have seen, they don't look difficult to fabricate. It would be helpful to know the specs on the rear springs too.
