1995 Ice is pulling this code. A/C and cooling fan works fine. I googled heck out of it and can't find much. Any input?
586(M)Open circuit in A/C clutch - A/C and Fan Circuits

Also noticed all computers with chips in them would pull code 511 also. Comp without chip would not. 511 is 511(O)No power to PCM pin 1 or bad PCM (processor) Think it might just be a piggyback chip thing.

Anyone with info on code 586?

I took the superchip off the 1995 comp and just like I thought the code 511 went away and it pulled a good 111 code. The chips must cause the 511 code. Still getting the code 586 with 3 different computers.

i've had a 511 since i put my chip in. no CEL, so i just ignore it.

586 comes up as "Open circuit in A/C clutch - A/C and Fan Circuits"

no experience with that one.

Figured it was this, going to swap in another one and see.
586 -- Variable Control Relay Module (VCRM)- open circuit failure in air conditioner Clutch circuit.

Ok since I'm on my own here I will just babble. I can clear all codes and get 111. Then if I start car then shut off the 586 comes back. I took the known good (no codes checked before pulled) VCRM out of my 1993. Still same code 586. I checked plug on AC pump took off and on still code 586. Then I took a good AC pump and put it on rad support and ran jumper wires to plug. I started car and turned AC on and clutch locked like it should. Still code 586 and 579 which means no pressure increase because it was just a pump sitting on rad support. So its not the VCRM,AC pump or AC pump plug. Also car has ZERO codes in the KOER test weird??? Passes with a 111. I need to find out what the plug at ac compressor should read any one know?
