Cobra Intake a good idea..Gen II

Im not looking to make my 98 Mark a race car, but i decided i wanted to make it a little bit faster...here what i plan to do:

4.10 gears trac lok
Tune
Exhaust

i was wondering if i should grab a cobra intake and throw it in? does it improve performance that much? worth the money?

I hate to beat a dead horse, but search. 410s and exhaust do good things for these cars

With full exhaust (and preferrably headers) yes the Cobra intake is worth every penny.

Haha. Felt it as soon as the intake was swapped. Heard the tires bark 3rd and I was like holy chit, easy now.
