I was trying to search it but had no luck for the parts list to do cobra brake conversion on mark viii. also when doing the conversion do you have to change the brake lines as well

I have not done this conversion but it looks be be simple so you need the following

1 pair of cobra calipers with brackets
1 pair of cobra rotors redrilled to the Mark bolt pattern
17 inch wheels or greater to clear new calipers

That as far as I know covers it.

If I missed anything someone will chime in I am sure :D

Redrilled to the mark viii bolt pattern? Do you think it's better to do a hub swap and just buy cobra brake rotors

Whats needed
Cobra (or equal calipers) Front NO brackets they bolt right on
Front cobra rotors Redrilled to mk8 or notched or hub swap(more money)
Front brake line on pass side file to fit(on gen1, not sure on gen2)
Rear caliper use mk8 equal to cobra
rear cobra rotors RD N or HS like above
Rear rotor to stock mk8 hub rings ( not needed if hub swap)
Pair of rear caliper raising up brackets.

What type of rotors do you recommend slotted, drilled and slotted, or blank. Or is this based upon preference

If u replaced and went with cobra brake lines do you still have to ground them down

You just grind it down flush?

Like I mentioned you 45 the one corner of the brass block that gets bolted to the caliper with the banjo bolt.Or grind end down to make it thinner so the bolt can go thru brass block . Or You can see where I relieved caliper for it in my thread to not file line. (cuz I could)
