I'm in the prosess of putting my gen 2 back together, and I might have a problem.Engine and trans are back in and it sounds great however I did not have the rag joint bolted to the rack yet, here's the problem,my 9 year old got in the car yesterday while I was cleaning up the shop and decided to take daddy's mark for a pretend drive. When I noticed what she was doing it was to late,I have no idea how many times she turned the steering wheel, should I assume at this point my clockspring is toast? And if it is can I still get one from ford? I guess I should be proud that she would rather "drive" my mark than mommy's expedition.

Call Maxx and see if he has any. If not Jaime should have one. At least they are easy to replace.

If none of the wires are broken, you can "re-clock" it.

Turn all the way to the right and then back 2 3/4 turns.
