I have an inverter from my previous car and was wondering does anyone know the max wattage the lighters can handle, i know in my tahoe it held alot but in my armada it was only 100 watts (which surprises me for a SUV). Any idea what it is for LS?

According to the '04 Owner's Guide, the two power points each have a 20A fuse. Since watts = volts x amps, that gives a maximum of 240W. According to the Owner's Manual, you should not use the cigarette lighter outlet for running accessories; you should only use the power point (and, likewise, you should only use the cigarette lighter element in the cigarette lighter outlet). It doesn't say why, just that you shouldn't do it.
