Chris 2523 I went thru all the combos fast and am guessing you went 4.030X3.700 on your Cougar windsor to get 377 CI. Why the 3.700 stroke not to many of that stroke out there?

i replied over in the hi jacked thread. but its all good.

"i shall check with the old man. it's his car, i just, borrow it. :D"

grandma bought it new, dad drove it forever and now it just sits.
so i have taken it upon myself to take care of it. hit up some buddies for free tires, cleaned out the gas tank, new brakes, etc.
i'm familiar with everything in the car except the engine. he had all that built with a friend of his down at the machine shop. turn 7k without twitching. so i'll ask about it when i can.

now the master cylinder leaks all over the place so im scared to drive it, but everything else is pretty good.

Wow had it since new that crazy. I had like 10-12 67-68 Cougars when I was young. They got alot bigger in 69 and came in a vert. That one is a keeper for sure. Goodluck.

Man I remember going to the boneyard in 1985ish and seeing a triple black 69 Cougar vert in there with a 351C 4 barrel in her. Was in good shape too.

my aunt still gives us crap about my dad getting that car.

we have a 69 vert. red, white interior. probably not in so great of condition now. :(

and a 89 XR7 supercharged. runs good. needs work. sigh. some people.. shouldn't have left it at his house but we were outta room at home. :(

and a 69 with a 429 in it from some big mercury. :D

but yeah. grandma had a few in her day as well. a 68 but it ate tires for breakfast, lunch and dinner. so it went away.

That's cause grandma knows how to drive.. :D

hahaha. my grandma had a lead foot. this is true.
but the front tires were the problem. lol.

pics anyone?
