I just couldn't help it! I made sure to install everything super clean and totally hidden. YES, It's really loud and makes people jump! I have the pressure set to 140 PSI.

cool, looks like the old Italian Fiamms. I have big Bosch horns from old 1967 Benz on my LS.

That's cool! I checked out your car domain site. Nice lookin LS.

The horn kit is made by hadley manufacturing. I had the same set up on my 88 ford bronco II and it was a blast! I missed having a loud horn that really pisses people off so the lincoln got one! It's my wifes birthday next month and boy do I have a surprize for her! I'm putting it on her 2000 expedition.
1 gallon Viair air tank, Viair compressor, 135 psi pressure switch along with 2 quad trumpet air horns with electric solenoids. Everything will be hidden underneath the truck. Hope she likes it!

Yeah I know... I've got a real issue!

That's actually pretty cool! I really like the way you've kept things hidden and out of the way. Really nice look. I've always thought the Mark VIII should have a louder horn on it anyway.

How much did that setup put you back, if I may ask? And what kind of sound does it make? Is it like one of those really loud train horns?? I've kind of thought about puttin' one on like that on mine.
:D

Hey, Thanks! New they run around $300 +or-. I got lucky and found this entire kit on ebay in new condition for $100 bucks shipped. They are very loud! They have a deep train sound to them that is ear piercing! If you decide to get a set up then I would go with a compreesor and tank type, not the cheaper $30 on demand kind. I will post a video once I figure out how to.

You can also piece together your own set up or buy a less expensive complete kit on ebay. Just search for "air horns"

I wonder if you could use the air ride compressor for that...

Yes I'm sure you can. I have used the cadillac pumps before. You just have to block off a port and then they will pump up to 150 psi all day long.

I have spliced in Extra horns. my former 69 -tbird had a weak horn so I added a set off a 72 dart. it made it 2 time stronger .

its not air horn sound

Yeah, Some factory horns just suck! There is always room for improvement.
