Thats the message i have had on my Information Center for about a month. I changed the bulb, and the fuses are OK. The light works fine, when its powered on (headlights, parking lights), it just dont work as a turn sugnal (makes sense, since its a dual filament bulb).

I have searched here in LVC, and found out that the LS has the flasher built into the gauge cluster (dumbest idea i have ever heard). I took apart my dash, and got the cluster out, to see if i could find access to it. No luck. Figured i might hit it a bit, and it might do the trick. No luck either.

So i assume the flasher is no good. If i were to buy a new cluster from eBay, or another outlet. Do you think it would make things better.l I know i would have to go to the dealer to have the mileage programmed into it (anyone know how much that might cost).

My horn still doesnt work. I was told the horn as a relay ror something like that in the cluster as well. Maybe my horn will work again with a new cluster as well.

Im really trying hard to enjoy this car, but things like this make it really hard. And being out of warranty, makes it more difficult.

Thanks in advance with any help. Sorry for such a long post.:)

what year?

look at the turn signal socket with the bulb out and see if its burnt or melted at the bottom, near the terminals.

Its a 2001. I will check the socket, when i get a chance.

Nothing. The connectors still look fine, no noticeable 'burn' marks.

Anyone else?!?!?!

Just an FYI. If you do get a new cluster, according to what I've read, the car won't start until the computer is programmed (by the dealership) to recognize the new cluster.

Also, does the rear turn signal work? If so that *might* indicate that the flasher is not the problem. I'll check out the schematics on my manual.
