Check Air Ride Message

I gone through the other forums about the check air ride message and have done, I think, everything. The message appears as soon as I turn the car on. I have 2 VIII and I switched everything over from the one car that I know the air ride worked in to my other one because the body on the other one is better. So I have changed the compressor and checked it, changed the module, changed and checked all 3 of the height sensors, changed the selonoids, changed the relay and checked it and I still cannot figure out what is wrong. Why my compressor wont turn on and the message keeps appearing. I read something about a computer?...I am not sure if they meant the module. I am in desperate need of help. I know everything works because it all came out of a working car so has to do with something in the car I have transferred everything to. If there is something I have missed that should be checked or switched I would love to know. I have even fixed the wiring to the rear selonoids and still nothing. PLEASE HELP as I would love for this car to have the air ride system working because I do not want the springs. So if anyone can help me I would really appreciate it.
 
The computer they're referring to, is the Suspension Control Module located on the passenger side kick panel. If that is the module you are talking about, then you should have covered that. You said you changed the relay and the compressor so you have covered those along with the height sensors and solenoids.

So, have you check the fuses. The main fuse for Air ride system is located under the hood, it is the mini-atc fuse #4, it's a blue 15 amp fuse, if that fuse is blown there is no power supplied to the SCM. Also check the #10 fuse on the panel inside the passenger compartment.

Check those things and report your findings. We'll see what we can do from there.

Don't see anything about the air suspension on the #13 fuse. Here is a link to the documentation here. Note: This is the power distribution box for a 96 Mark VIII, since I'm not for sure what year your car is.

I did notice that fuse #20 runs the compressor, check that one too.

Probably wouldn't hurt to check fuses 10, 17, 18, and 19. Although, if any of those were blown you'd be having more problems.
 
The problem lies directly in the compressor or compressor relay circuit. The first thing the computer does when you turn the car on is hit the compressor. Same thing happened to me and it ended up being a corroded wire leading to the relay. Check all of the wires for corrosion and replace if need be. Also make sure to solder all connections if you replace them.
 
I know your joking 96. But I will add this. Soldering is VERY important. When I built my engine harness every connection was soldered and then sealed with heat shrink tubing. But I made the TPS sensor too short and had to cut a splice a section in. Well I just twisted and taped. It was fine but I noticed when I squeezed the connections the idle went up! Let go and it went right back down.
 
I checked all of the fuses and they are all good. I checked the wires to the relay and they are not corroted. They are great. So what else could it be now? Please help Thanks
