changed stabilzer links, got new bushing...

well i changed both stabilizer links as i stated in a previous post. i ordered the energy suspension sway bar bushing, as i go to check just now if they fit, i wiggle the sway bar and there is play if i move it front to back, but not up and down. i was holding it right near the stabilizer link. any thoughts ball joint maybe? thanks

did you check the size of the bar before you bought the bushings?

It almost sounds like they are for a larger bar and are not supporting bar correctly.

The 03+ V8 has a 30mm swaybar. Not sure what the 00-02 has. You may need smaller bushings if the bar moves too much.
