Center Taillight Repair

On a 97 Mark VIII base, is it possible to transplant the chrome part of the center taillight to another taillight ?

YES i DO THIS ALL THE TIME. I have 9 rear neon tail lights in storage that I have reconditioned from bad back-plates, or bad chrome, of bad red transparent plastic lens, transplanting any of these items can be done.
