Well, I've noticed that when I open my door and the dome light comes on (with no key in the car) that my factory in-dash CD changer starts cycling through the discs. Any idea what is going on there?

Sounds like another great electrical mishap... every 3rd-4th time I get out of my car I find myself re-inserting the key for the CD player itself to shut off or for just the CD player lights.... makes me so angry every time.
My cd player is starting to mess up too....every now and then it reads "cd error" and the face will stay open until I shut the car off and then back on...any idea what causes that? I might just take it in and have them replace the whole head-unit....

Mine went bezerk like that once too. And the car's not even 2 years old...
What did you do or have done to correct this?

I tried taking out all the cds and various buttons but ended up having to turn the car off and back on, like you did.
