Well, as the title says my mark sometimes gots hot (about at the R). It is mostly with the a/c on and driving. while idling it will come back to the M. A while back a had the radiator serviced in the winter. when it started getting hotter here in az, so did the temp.

Is it possible the shop didn't get all of the air out of the system or is this likely something else?

First thing to do is check for coolant leaks. Form there try burping the system of any air. After than you may want to consider that the water pump may be heading south, but that usually means it leaks. Or the crossover temp sensor is bad. On a 94 you have two temp sensors, one for the face gauge and one for the ECU.

Does a 93 have the two temp sensors as well? Where are they located if this is the case? Thanks.

I am pretty sure all Gen Ones do. If you do, they will both be on the crossover opposite each other. There is a third at the passenger head in the back, but its used from the HVAC. On a Gen II the temp gauge is "controlled" by the computer. This is why some Gen Ones seem to operate at different temp just fine where as most Gen II are all on the M or A, etc.
