car keeps going to 43mph

i have had this problem since the very start, my car will keep accelarating to 43mph without me even pressing on the gas pedal, very slowly and if i want to stay below it i have to press on the brake do you guys know what this is?

Remove the fuse for the cruise control and take it for a drive. I would say thats cruise related.

vacuum leak..

or idle control valve is sticking

both will cause your car to acclerate with no input from the driver.

I'd replace the idle control valve before tracking down the endless miles of vacuum hoses.. {that's just my opinion though)
