OK, this may sound like a stupid question to some of you guys because I know there are many of you that have had an LS for awhile. I just bought one a couple weeks ago and was wondering if there is a website or link to find out any and all information on the car I bought. Like model, options included, that kind of stuff. I contacted 2 local Lincoln dealerships and was basically told if I bring it in and pay to have it hooked up to diagnostics that they may be able to help me out.

I think he's looking for something to decipher the rpo codes. I believe you can find them in the glove box or door jamb. Just need the decoder card.
I did a google search and was not able to come up with a solution. Of course all a search here gets is a list of SES codes. Any of you tech savvy guys know?

Well, for instance, I see posts on here about LS V6 and LS V8 models and Sport models and LSE models. Mine doesn't have any chrome except for around the grill and around the rear plate. Everything else, other than the wheels, is black. Does that designate a Sport model? Things like that.

You likely have a 2003 LS Sport...

Do you have woodgrain in the dash, steering wheel, and shift knob? If you do thats a Premium Sport

If you have just a v8 Sport, I believe they have silver / nickel accents inside instead of wood, leather shift knob, steering wheel. (could be black also, but not sure on that)

There weren't many options available for the LS. There was no LSE for 2003.

Options:
NAV - THX Audio
Heated Rear Seats
8 spoke Chrome Wheels
Rear Parking Sensors
Moonroof - Homelink Transmitter (3 buttons in the drivers visor)

Maybe a northern state option with 16" wheels.

I'm pretty sure thats it... I could be wrong and someone will correct me.

Out of that list I only have the moon roof and the homelink options. 17" 7spoke rims (or is it 14 spoke with the twin 7 spokes? LOL) with 235/50-17 tires. No wood trim, just the matte gray finish.

You have a V8 Sport then, Congrats! :D

Yea they're still called 7 spokes. I like them, mind had the 8 spokes which are sitting in the garage now... I should do something with them.

HID head lights, SST Transmission, headed and cooled front seats, folding exterior mirrors, adjustable rear head rest, and Advance trac. As stated above no LSE, that was called Premium Sports. 16" wheels had nothing to do with what part of the country you lived just what motor and array you have.

Kinda options but it depends on the model you get.

SST Trans, Heated & Cooled F seats, Folding Mirrors, Adj Rear Headrest all show as Standard for me on the Original Window Sticker.

The Premium Sport gives you: Option Code 222A
HID headlamps
AdvanceTrac
Sport Tuned Suspension
17" 8 spoke chrome
Premium Package - Wood Grain yada yada.

Only options mine shows are:

Front License Plate Bracket ..... what a dumb option lol, took me 20 mins to remove it.
Heated Rear Seats
Extended Park Assist

The only option I don't have is NAV-THX.

IDK... lol Good Luck to ya ;)

Traction control standard and Advance Trac standard on Premium Sport and optional on Sport, and your right SST standard in 2003 on V8 all arrays.

Silver LS, do you have the optional Moon Roof? Do you have adjustable rear headrest or integrated rear headrest?

I do but I was wrong, its not an option, according to my sticker.

Don't know if this will show up.

Its funny how they play loose and fast with standard and options among the models, arrays, and years.

Here is my sticker for 2004, look at the gas mileage, warranty from 2003 to 2004, same engine and transmission?

Thanx for all the input guys, I really appreciate it.

I found a couple of decoders on-line but they really didn't tell me more than I already know. I will do a little more digging.

I've only had this thing a couple weeks but I can say, other than my '90 T-Bird SC, this thing is like the cats-frigin-a$$ to drive! I didn't expect this thing to handle this well and ride as nice as it does. [I traded my '97 SHO for this LS and it was well worth it. Not sure if I will spend the time and money modifying it the way I have my T-bird but it could happen down the road. Have to wait and see.

What you can do is go to your nearest ford dealer, go to the parts dept and give them your vin. They gave me a print out of all the options my car has in it. for no charge.
