car for 2 wks first problem

Well I'm at a stop light, and the car starts smoking i thought it was this old beat up pick-up next to me, he looks at me and starts laughing, i pull away and some ladies pull up and are like why is your car smoking, the car then starts to putter, i'm already at my house, park the car, get out, tons of steam.... wait a few, open the hood, and there is coolant everywhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... So I'm thinking, maybe busted hose? I had a bottle of coolant in the house, poured some in as soon as i started it, it would just drain in the driveway........... Couldnt see where it was leaking cause it was about 8pm. SO i decide to take it in in the morning... Drop it off at 7am 930 rolls aroudn they dont call so i call them, they said to come pick it up... I guess i split the bypass hose, they replace it and no charge to me.. free full tank of gas and a nice wash!!!... I have a feeling this is only the beginning!!!.. lol :soapbox:

what the hell are you complaining about!!!! your getting it fixed at NO CHARGE!!!!
and to top it off you get a free tank of gas AND a free carwash!!!!

Cause now it will take a few weeks to burn off all the coolant out of the engine compartment..

NO be strong FLM dealers will take care of you just as long as you dont wig out. All cars have issues and a hose is honestly just one of those standard repairs that everyone has had to endure sometime with any type of car. Be strong have fun with your LS.

not really complaining, just the inconvenience, ecspecially after only havin the car for only 2 wks, but hey shi*t happens, Guess I got to see what type of service I'm gona receive, and it was great service!!!!!!.... Anyone have any idea what would cause that hose to go, I have only 38k miles, everything was supposibly inspected...

Yeah but a minor crack or tear in the fiber reenforcment of the hose could easily go unnoticed...especially on the inside. I wouldn't even worry about it. Chalk it up to bad luck and enjoy the free gas...

the best thing about going back to the dealership, was I gota see the gorgeous sales lady. I took her out to dinner when she dropped the price on my car!!!... Lol :Beer
