Car Fax

Anyone have an extra car fax they're willing to part with? Or know of a similar site that's cheaper? $40 to pay for a car fax for a car I may or may not buy off craigslist seems like a waste of money to me. I asked the seller and he's also not willing to pay for it... I know it seems dumb and I should look elsewhere but the price is right.

What's he afraid of or hiding? Forty bucks is nothing if it sells the car!
