Can't find the "heater core" thread!

Hi, y'all!

Recently, it's become obvious that I need a new heater core. I know that it's gonna require a dash removal but I'm looking for a bit more detailed info. There's a reference to a thread that's no longer active;
http://www.lincolnsonline.com/article57.html. I'm gonna wait until it gets a little warmer outside before I tackle this. The job looks like a real PITA and I've got another car to drive while the Mark is "dashless."

Does anybody have this thread saved somewhere or is there a new link to it?

I just read the thread... HOLY MOTHER OF PEARL!! This definitely ain't somthin' I'm lookin' forward to! All that JUST for the friggin' heater core?

There's NO WAY I'll be getting started on that this weekend. This looks like something I'm gonna have to schedule in!

Just make sure you pressure test the new core before you put it in.

It's not that bad. I did it years ago. More time consuming than anything else.

At least pressure tested, I agree. Considering how much work is involved in the install, I wish I could have the damn core MRI'd and X-rayed!!

If I get the MK VIII I've been looking at, I won't have to do this particular job on THIS particular car but once!
