my drivers side exhaust pipe has a pin hole on the weld bead.

right where the pipe coming off the manifold comes down to the junction that bolts the next part on there is a factory weld then a few inches and then the bolt mounts , i have an exhaust leak and when i looked at it today i found there is a small hole right in the welded part, can that be easily welded shut as long as the pipe is otherwise structurally sound?

thanks

Welding ... The act of taking metal and getting it molten with electricity and perminatly bonding it to another piece of metal.... Or you can use some :q:q:q:qing tape from Advance Auto.. Your choice
if any of your car parts fall off... You can screw or bolt them back on... Or wire coat hangers from wal-mart

:q:q:q:q that... beer cans ftw!

LOLOLOLOLOL i did that with the wifes first car (81 omni) the pipe in the middle of the car broke, i used a beer can and wrapped it around the pipe and secured it with hose clamps. it held for about 5 minutes before it blew out, but what do you expect its a omni lol

but this is a welded section of exhaust ,the actual seam of the weld itself is pulling apart, wouldn't welding it again be best,if possible?

Yes, he was just kidding..... :slam

I vote the budweiser cat-back system.... Wonder if it would burp instead when it backfired
