na man never saw the actual plug for it... cant open the page at work either... im looking into the other one with the black not metal hose.. same difference?

so basically.. it just plugs in just like your metal one does? same as the most expensive one on lsk?

They are all the same to me, some just look better. Seat of your pants you'll notice them all a little bit but they all sound cool. (Placebo affect.) I'd go for the black so you don't have a big stainless tube running through your bay, but again, just my opinion. It looks good on 02V8's since he has a silver theme going on. I still wan't to see someone do an actual dyno with an 03-06 3.9L with aftermarket intake and with stock intake. Then I'll beleive there is a difference.

screw the HP.. i just want the sound. heard the kkm is kinda boggy when its hot out... wish i could just spend 100 bucks less but i dont wanna lose power in that sense..

There probably is... but it sounds like you'll want some actual customer service and customer support. Sometimes paying a little more for the same item is worth it if you get the service to match. Just my 02

Posted many of times; 2003 T-Bird 3.9L V8 (same as 03-06 LS) Dyno sheet that comes with K&N FIPK, 15.HP gain at the rear wheel.

Was done only on the T-Bird because of the cost involved in getting CARB certification ( thanks Ken).

Different car, different results. I should've said LS and not just 3.9 L so no it hasn't been done and I don't think any old Joe Schmoe needs CARB certs to do a test like this on a dyno. So if someone happens to have an 03-06 LS 3.9L and has a stock airbox and aftermarket intake, then I think it could, should, may be possible to see if there is even a slight HP increase. So as far as I'm concerned, it hasn't been done...at least not with proof shown on here it hasn't. I also don't tend to beleive a company that is just trying to sell their product... i.e. K&N. Not saying it's not true. Call me crazy.... but actual proof from an unbiased source is usually what I tend to beleive.
