ive been trying to find a list of all the vehicles that came from the factory with DOHC C-heads. id like a cheap pair that i can have rebuilt with cobra cams and swapped on with a cobra or aviator intake for now. im looking to use an intercooled kenne-bell in the future so i will need this setup first

but didnt several lincolns come with them from the factory ?

that era continentals have c heads. Front wheel drive but dont be fooled, it will work. if your swapping the intake anyways. you can find them for cheap. mach 1, cobra, marauder, contenental, and i think.. think thats it..

actually the continentals have some sort of adapter that allows you to use the b intake with c heads so if you dont have money to do the intake right away you can stay stock.

so with the continentals you can use intake from B or C headed cars ? what year model contis came with those heads ?

Just buy a set of Maruader/Mach 1 heads and freshen them up. Keep the stock cams as they will produce what you are after easily. Save you money on fancy cams for just a good used set of heads Alternative Automotive could probably handle your needs easily.

Ive heard there are a lot of miscellaneous parts needed in order to run c-heads on the Marks engine. Like, $3k worth. True?

If he is going KB he will have most of the stuff in the kit

What do you need besides the heads, intake and fuel rails? I was considering this swap but it if there is a lot more involved I'll find a short runner 96-98 cobra intake and forget it.
