Alright so I bought my new mark a few weeks back and have done some mods already, (lms exhaust, tint, hub swap, bilstein shocks with poly mounts, trans cooler that driller has) 2 pics in the gallery if you want to look btw

So the other night my friends said my exhaust smelled sweet so I checked the coolant and sure enough it was a little low(like an inch and a half under the line) So I figure that I am going to do a head gasket I might as well do a c head swap with a stock 03 eaton set up. My problem is I am not sure of all the parts I need besides the obvious heads and intake.

Oh btw, I cant find the lower intake anywhere for sale either so if you know of one or where I can buy one let me know.

eBay has intakes pop-up often.

FYI, keep an eye on the exhaust for a while. It sounds like the want to do the swap anyway and this is just the perfect "excuse" do it, which is fine. But if you dont want to tackle it, make sure your really blew a head gasket. For one thing, its not common but there are other potential leak sources and the ambient smell of coolant could blend with the exhaust making it seem sweet.

I guess if you want to go for it! Have fun! Wish I had an Eaton on hand! But I would consider a compression test first.

i'm not sure what your goal is but getting an eaton in that thing is a major chore. The c heads are no big deal though. If your budget would allow it would be easier to get a kb, whipple or something along that line.

you say the c heads are no big deal, could you elaborate a bit? what all is needed and about how much will it all cost? thanks.

Really? I figured if i did the C head swap the eaton wouldn't be too hard to do, it should all bolt on right. I was planning on doing a kb 2.1 for the b heads previously but that thing is 3800 dollars

If you aren't going to run an Intercooler, then save your money for something else.
