Well a black on black mark viii popped up on craigslist this morning... http://orlando.craigslist.org/cto/2266178468.html ...and i talked to the guy all day today. asked all about the car (he had not clue i think i gave him more information about his car than he gave me) and it sounded good. it needs air ride and a few other things which he offered to have fixed with the sale. so i thought i could get it down to a good price without him screwing something up.

....then i got the VIN and the carfax. the POS had been totaled in 08, salvaged, and rebuilt. had four owners. and right before that he started talking s*** to me, because i told him what was wrong with his car. so i told him F off and find an idiot to sell to.

SOOO....if he fixes the title to mark VIII not IV and it pops up again... DONT WASTE YOUR TIME! :) ....keep on hunting for me

I wouldn't be scared of a salvage car, as long as I could tell that it was fixed properly. Then it just becomes a good bargaining tool for the buyer.

Oh, that applies to accident damage, flood salvage is a different matter.

the guy pissed me off. he claims he coped the VIN wrong, but he wont email me back with the correct VIN. I dont deal with liars.

I just picked this one up on Friday. 116k with brand new air bags and compressor. Got him down to $2600. Runs excellent, Just needs a new steering rack and oil pan gasket. I just did a hub swap this weekend, I will post pics soon.

There are a lot of scammers on C.L. Especially when they put way too much compassion into there advertising and use wrong info. Mark IV....??
Typical DBag.

Here it is. 96 Cobras with Michelin Pilots, also found on the Craig.
