i put ebc brake pads red stuff front and back and ebc slotted rotors front and back have had them on for like two months now and know they make noise when i just drive not pushing the brakes. has this happend to anyone else

Did you use the pad shims, grease the moving parts, anti vibration solution on the back of the pads, and bleed the system?

nyc had noise from his EBC's, i dont know if it was all the time or just during braking, but i remember him describing it like a baseball card in the spokes of a bicycle wheel. it was enough for him to swear never to use EBC again!

Is it like a hum that increases in frequency and gets louder when you go faster? It's the slotted rotors, they do that. I had them on my pick up truck and lived with it for 50k miles 'til the pads wore out. I won't do that again.

EBC stuff is garbage. They made noise while driving like said above, squealed like a pig when coming to a stop and eventually the rear driver's side inner pad (or outer, I forget now), broke apart from the backing completely f*cking up my 6 month old rotor. I posted something about it with pictures if ya wanna search for it. I'll never buy their crap again.

I have nothing but good stuff to say about the EBC brakes I put on the LS.
They work better than oem, by a huge margin, and have had zero problems.
EBC does say they will make noise. Period. I am on my second set of NAPA pads, since the EBC Red Stuff pads wore out, and still no problems whatsoever.
They do make noise, and will due to the slots, and dimples. As long as they are properly lubed, they will not squeak, after the advertised break in period....my experience.
