I've been looking at upgrading my brakes next. First I thought about upgrading the spindles all the way around to Mustang Cobra spindles from a 96. Then I thought of upgrading the brakes on my stock spindles. I am looking on SSBrakes. They don't have any applications for the Mark, but they do have an application for the 97 Thunderbird. A two piston setup. Will this work on the Mark?

I'm having stock cobra rotors redrilled for my car, front AND rear. It costs about $50 a piece, so the cost of the rotors, calipers, and caliper brackets, plus $200.

It's the most feasable thing to do.

It's been done before.

Everything on the mark viii is exactly the same as the cobra EXCEPT for the bolt pattern/rotor size so using the cobra/Mach 1 caliper brackets and redrilling the holes takes care of it all.

Check on ebay, it's the best NEW prices around, and many vendors to choose from.
