I have a '94 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham with ABS and Anti-lock brakes. Recently the brake floor pedal has been sinking down to the floor. This happens at any speed and any weather. I do get a traction control and red brake light on my cluster. I don't have any error codes or service engine light. Also, the car does stop when I push down on the brakes but only if I'm driving at a slow speed. The wheels will burn rubber if I step at them on a higher speed.
I haven't seen any leaks around the cylinder or on the floor, under the car. The cylinder is also topped off with Dot-3 fluid. Any recommendations? I would take it in for a free brake inspection but many won't let you leave without buying, sometimes unnecessary parts and service. I also found a used master cylinder pulled from the same year, model and make, off eBay for $10. Thank you.
