After seeing Artur's newly polished headlights... I decided to pick up a few items.

Porter-Cable 7424 3.7 Amp 6-Inch Variable-Speed Random-Orbit Polisher with CCS pad kit
Kit includes:
Porter Cable 7424
5 Inch Backing Plate
2-CCS White 6.5 Inch Polishing Foam Pads
2-CCS Gray 6.5 Inch Finishing Foam Pads
1-CCS Blue 6.5 Inch Finessing Foam Pad
2 Cobra Indigo Edgeless Microfiber Polishing Cloths
12 oz. Pinnacle XMT Polishing Pad Cleaner
12 oz. Pinnacle XMT Polishing Pad Conditioner
1 Flat Wrench & 1 Counterweight
2 5.5 Low Profile Orange Light Cutting Pads

Wolfgang™ Plastik Lens Cleaning System

DP Xtreme Foam Formula Auto Shampoo

I figured I'd start out the 7424 so I don't burn my paint, I've never really used a polisher before. Pretty pumped to see what I can do to my headlights though.

Cool man, if I were you I would remove the bumper then open the hood, tape over the fender and the rubber part on the headlight then do the buffing and polishing. That way the headlight will be steady and you'll have less chances of missing anything. If you do it bumper and headlights on you can miss the lower part. It you take the headlight one and give it to somebody to hold it, it's gonna get shaky. Unless you put it on one of those mounting things, but then you might brake the headlight.

Just a suggestion.

Not a bad idea, I'll probably tape up around the headlights but the kit comes with really small controllable pads so I think I might be alright. How do you take the bumper off?

Remove the bolts under the bumper, there are about 10 of them, small 5.5mm heads I believe. Remove one bolt on the front fender liner and move it to the side and then there are 2 long bolts 8mm head that screw to the fender (both sides of the car). Then the bumper comes off, you don't even need to remove the headlights, just disconnect the harnesses for the lightning.

I'll give the bumper a try, might as well I don't have anything else to do lol.
